Setikhola Hydropower Ltd. (SHL) was established with the mission to develop a 22MW run-of-river (ROR) hydropower project nestled in Nepal’s Kaski District, harnessing the waters of the Seti Khola river. Located just 15 kilometers from Pokhara in the Kaski District, SHL’s hydropower project is part of a hydro cluster comprising around 20 additional projects, collectively boasting an impressive installed capacity nearly 1,000 MW. The project anticipates a robust annual output of 133.432 GWh, with 90.55 GWh generated during the wet season and 42.87 GWh during the dry season.
Facilitating power evacuation, SHL will seamlessly integrate with the national grid through a loop-in-loop-out mechanism, ensuring efficient distribution and utilization of generated power. Beyond energy provision, SHL demonstrates holistic commitment by investing in educational and healthcare initiatives, thereby improving overall quality of life for community members.
